Patterson Project Graduation members are responsible for organizing a safe, after graduation celebration for the graduating seniors of PHS class of  2012.

In America, alcohol is the #1 drug among our teens.
Alcohol kills more young people than all illegal drugs combined.
In 2006, a national survey showed that 73% of high school seniors have tried alcohol.
In 2005, over 2000 children ages 15-20 were killed in traffic accidents involving alcohol.

What is Project Graduation?

Project Graduation is an all-night, alcohol and drug free celebration for the graduating class, to be held after the graduation ceremony. We will designate a time that all seniors must check in at the Patterson Civic Center. A time for release the next morning will be decided upon at a later date and everyone will be notified.

What is this event so important to our young adults?

Graduates often 'party hop' in their efforts to celebrate with as many of their classmates as possible. Project Graduation provides a safe alternative to party hopping: it keeps all of the graduates off of the roads, prevents any of them from becoming an accident statistic and allows their parents to rest easy knowing their son/daughter is safely celebrating.
